چکیده
We report the discovery of an intrinsically faint, quintuply-imaged, dusty galaxy MACS0600-z6 at a redshift $z=$6.07 viewed through cluster MACSJ0600.1-2008 ($z$=0.46). A $\simeq4\sigma$ dust detection is seen 1.2mm as part ALMA Lensing Cluster Survey (ALCS), on-going Large program, and secured via [C II] 158 $\mu$m emission described in companion paper. In addition, spectroscopic follow-up with GMOS/Gemini-North shows break galaxy's spectrum, consistent Lyman that redshift. use detailed mass model infer magnification $\mu\gtrsim$30 for most magnified image this galaxy, which provides unprecedented opportunity to probe physical properties sub-luminous end cosmic reionisation. Based on spectral energy distribution, we lensing-corrected stellar masses $\rm{2.9^{+11.5}_{-2.3}\times10^9}$ $\rm{4.8^{+4.5}_{-3.4}\times10^6}$ $\rm{M_{\odot}}$ respectively, star formation rate $\rm{9.7^{+22.0}_{-6.6} M_{\odot} yr^{-1}}$, intrinsic size $\rm{0.54^{+0.26}_{-0.14}}$ kpc, luminosity-weighted age 200$\pm$100 Myr. Strikingly, production relatively young appears be larger than observed equivalent, lower sources. discuss if implies early supernovae are more efficient producers consequences using earlier formation.

iPTF16geu: A multiply imaged, gravitationally lensed type Ia supernova.
We report the discovery of a multiply imaged, gravitationally lensed type Ia supernova, iPTF16geu (SN 2016geu), at redshift z = 0.409. This phenomenon was identified because the light from the stellar explosion was magnified more than 50 times by the curvature of space around matter in an intervening galaxy. We used high-spatial-resolution observations to resolve four images of the lensed super...
متن کاملDiscovery of Multiply Imaged Galaxies behind the Cluster and Lensed Quasar
We have identified three multiply imaged galaxies in Hubble Space Telescope images of the redshift z = 0.68 cluster responsible for the large-separation quadruply lensed quasar, SDSS J1004+4112. Spectroscopic redshifts have been secured for two of these systems using the Keck I 10m telescope. The most distant lensed galaxy, at z = 3.332, forms at least four images, and an Einstein ring encompas...
متن کاملSpitzer Massive Lensing Cluster Survey
We are currently undertaking a Spitzer GTO program to image ∼ 30 massive lensing clusters at moderate redshift with both IRAC and MIPS. By taking advantage of the gravitatinoal lensing power of these clusters, we will study the population of faint galaxies that are below the nominal Spitzer detection limits. Here, we present a few examples of our science programs.
متن کاملA Multiply Imaged Luminous Infrared Galaxy behind the Bullet Cluster (1e0657-56)
We present evidence for a Spitzer-selected luminous infrared galaxy (LIRG) behind the Bullet Cluster (1E0657-56). The galaxy, originally identified in IRAC photometry as a multiply imaged source, has a spectral energy distribution consistent with a highly extincted (AV ∼ 3.3), strongly star-forming galaxy at z ∼ 2.7. Our strong gravitational lensing analysis of the cluster indicates that the ma...
متن کاملSpt 0538−50: Physical Conditions in the Ism of a Strongly Lensed Dusty Star-forming Galaxy at Z=2.8
We present observations of SPT-S J053816−5030.8, a gravitationally-lensed dusty star forming galaxy (DSFG) at z = 2.7817, first discovered at millimeter wavelengths by the South Pole Telescope. SPT 0538−50 is typical of the brightest sources found by wide-field millimeter-wavelength surveys, being lensed by an intervening galaxy at moderate redshift (in this instance, at z = 0.441). We present ...
